Oak Valley Tree Services spent nearly two weeks clearing a massive site in Okehampton, Devon, for one of our regular commercial clients.
The work site, at the very peak of a large quarry, presented difficulty for the team to get access with larger machinery, so the clearance was carried out using chainsaws by our fully NPTC qualified, and insured, team.
The majority of trees on this site were either Silver Birch (Betula Pendula) or awkward, overgrown Holly (Ilex Aquifolium) Trees, most of which were on steep banks.
All of the trees and shrubs on this site were fed through an 8″ Timberwolf Wood Chipper, which was on tracks. Once the felling and chipping was completed, every single stump on site was treated to prevent any regrowth occurring, and our team will check back with the client to make sure of this after another growing season.
